The IAQVEC conference held in Tokyo from the 20th of May brought together leading experts in Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation for Energy Conservation. The event showcased cutting-edge research and innovative solutions to enhance indoor environments while promoting energy efficiency. We had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, exchange knowledge, and explore advancements in air quality monitoring, filtration systems, and sustainable ventilation strategies. The conference served as a platform to address pressing issues related to indoor air quality, such as the impact on human health, productivity, and well-being. It was the first in person conference after the pandemic. Tokyo proved to be an ideal host, highlighting the commitment of the IAQVEC committee towards advancing research and technology in the field.

Regarding IAQVEC Conference I think it was a great event. I am very happy that I could attend it and learn so much from colleagues from all over the world working in research topics very similar to the one I am working on. It was also very good to learn better practices from their way of work. The venue was really impressive and I also enjoyed of getting to know more about Tokyo.
