Hybrid exprimental house in Tegal: The completion was in January, and the warranty period may end in April 2026. The Completion ceremony is planning to be held on 24th April after the Tegal city’s ceremony, in which Mayor, etc. will join. So, please join, if possible.

Vsit of Indonesian delegates from March 1st: Thank Kogakuin Univ. very much for hosting during their staying at Tokyo. Please join in the site visit of UR museum and the Welcome Party, if possible.

Prof. Kubota’s visit to Indonesia: 1st April (UNEP Work Shop in Jakarta, and then the Work Shop in Cambodia to be attended by Dr. Ariel). & 24th April (Completion ceremony)

Hybrid exprimental house in Tegal: The progress is now being caught up to about one month that completion may be in Feb., and the warranty period may end in May 2026. The Completion ceremony is planning to be held during March End to April Begining after Ramadan holidays.

Springer Book: Submission of the first draft by 22nd Mar. 2026, however, we try to make rescheduling to April to May due to the constraint with several thesis submissions during 1st Qtr. of next year.

Future TNY through downscaling methods: The dataset to be sent to all members.

Preparation of the demonstration units: 1N1 unit (Show Room) can be utilized permanently.

Prof. Kubota’s visit to Indonesia: 25th to 31st Jan. to include Nusantara for next project (TBD), Tegal with JUBH for checking the progresss, and IPSOS to have a meeting for an additional survey on material flow of woods in Jakarta, if agreeable

Hybrid exprimental house in Tegal: Now under construction of wooden portions, in which we very much appreciated SFC/YKK/AGC’s big efforts.

Springer Book: Submission of the first draft by 23rd Nov. 2025, that we are planning to try to propose the postpone for several months.

JST final report(revision): Submission of the revised draft of the final report by 12th Nov. 2025, for which the revisions/updates to be requested, soon.

JST final presentation (Nov. 26th 2025, Tokyo): Explained the overall information. Thanks to the participations from the related Universities.

AIJ 2026 will be at Yasuda Women’s University in Hiroshima: We also would like to have the Final Organized Session in Hiroshima.

Seminar in Environmental Engineering on Sep.10th in AIJ 2026(Hiroshima): We would like to make the final report of DeLCA project.

Overall of conferences (Indoor Air 2026 and AIVC 2926) were also introduced.

The latest Reserach Progress and plans were explained in all areas. Takata-san’s (HU) paper on lifestyle classification has been accepted by JAABE (in press).

IEQ conference in Montreal, Canada held in Sep. 2025 was introduced, in which Kondo-san (Waseda) made a nice presentation.

HU invited Professor emeritus Mochida (Tohoku Univ.) to have his supervision on Climate project during June 5th-6th, which was very fruitful opportunity.

Hybrid experimental house in Tegal: Making Ground Floor was almost completed with portions of concrete and then will move to wooden portions.

Springer Book: The writing to be confirmed among the authors mainly in Summer towards submission of the first draft by 23rd Nov. 2025.

JST reports (completed by May End): The JST annual 2024 report has already been confirmed by JST and can be disclosed to all related Universities. The 1st final report has been approved by Prof. Shikazono and will be sent to the SATREPS reviewers.

DeLCA Seminar in HU: 8th (pm for Seminar) – 9th ( for excursion) August 2025 was proposed in case the eight India members ( 2 staffs & 6 students) from Sakura science can join in person. (We are still waiting for the approval from Sakura science, which will be informed as soon as we can receive the conclusion.)

UNEP/ACE Passive Cooling Advisory Group: Prof. Kubota, Dr. Ariel, Andhang-san(YKK AP R&D) are joing together with JICA members in this Group. The kick off meeting to be on June 30th.

Hybrid experimental house in Tegal: The construction was started from Jan. 2025 (Pilings were completed, then will move to making the Ground Floor).

Springer Book: The writing to be mainly in Summer towards submission of the first draft by 23rd Nov. 2025.

Deadlines of JST reports (by 30th May 2025): Annual progress 2024 and the Final progress report (1st draft). The final progress report to be used in JST final presentation on 26th Nov. 2025 (14:00-16:30) in JST Tokyo.

Project evaluation visit by Prof. Shikazono: 1st-7th Sep. 2025 including JCC (1st-4th Sep.) in which Prof. Kubota will visit to Indonesia. Any other opportunities to visit to Indonesia might be around Feb.-Mar. 2026 for the Completion of Hybrid experimental house in Tegal.

On January 17th, 2025, we held the ground breaking for Hybrid experimental house in Tegal with around 100 participants, including VIPs from Indonesian Government such as Vice Minister of PU, Director General for Human Settlements, and Chief Representative of JICA Indonesia office.
