Hybrid experimental house in Tegal: The construction was started from Jan. 2025 (Pilings were completed, then will move to making the Ground Floor).
Springer Book: The writing to be mainly in Summer towards submission of the first draft by 23rd Nov. 2025.
Deadlines of JST reports (by 30th May 2025): Annual progress 2024 and the Final progress report (1st draft). The final progress report to be used in JST final presentation on 26th Nov. 2025 (14:00-16:30) in JST Tokyo.
DeLCA Seminar in HU: 8th (pm for Seminar) – 9th ( for excursion) August 2025 was proposed in case the eight India members ( 2 staffs & 6 students) from Sakura science can join in person. (Approval or not for Sakura science will be in the middle of June 2025, if not, the General meeting by on-line as usual)
Project evaluation visit by Prof. Shikazono: 1st-7th Sep. 2025 including JCC (1st-4th Sep.) in which Prof. Kubota will visit to Indonesia. Any other opportunities to visit to Indonesia might be around Feb.-Mar. 2026 for the Completion of Hybrid experimental house in Tegal.

The ground breaking was held on Jan. 17th for Hybrid experimental house in Tegal.
On January 17th, 2025, we held the ground breaking for Hybrid experimental house in Tegal with around 100 participants, including VIPs from Indonesian Government such as Vice Minister of PU, Director General for Human Settlements, and Chief Representative of JICA Indonesia office.

Prof. Kubota and Dr. Ariel were invited to the Seminar on Sustainable Housing, Building and Cities held by JUBH at Jakarta during Jan. 14-15th, which was a big event with several VIPs such as from Government.
Hybrid experimental house in Tegal: The Groundbreaking was held on Jan. 17th, which was also a good event with several VIPs such as PU Deputy Minister who made a comment that DeLCA project was one of commitment of Indonesian Goverment, which was published in several News Papers/Web Sites. The construction period was updated to Jan.2025 to Jan.-Feb.2026.
Springer Book: Approved and the kick-off meeting was held on Feb.19th, then the timelines of actions to be announced from the Editor.
AIJ organized session for 2025 conference in Sep. at Kyushu Univ.: Abstruct (by next week 28th) and Full paper (by Apr. 2nd) under Low-Carbon Affordable Houses in the Global South towards Paris Agreement.
UNEP Passive cooling action group: Established last year to set the Guidelines for Global South/ASEAN. DeLCA project was found fully matching to this UN action and was introduced by JICA. Prof. Kubota will join in the ASEAN Passive Cooling Guideline as an advisort board, and would like to invite other project members from Universities and Companies.

Visit of Kubota-sensei to Indonesia (Jan. 13th -19th/2025) :
Please refer to the details in Google Drive for Housing exhibition + seminar in Jakarta (14th-15th) held by Japan & Indonesia Governments, in which Ariel-san & Kubota-sensei were invited to introduce DeLCA project.
Ground Breaking for Hybrid experimental house in Tegal is planning to be held on Jan. 17th/2025 based on the conclusion of the contracts during Jan. 15th-16th /2025. So, please join in Ground Breaking, if possible.
Springer Book proposal :
Please see the Guidelines for Book Proposals in Google Drive, and writings during next year by all the members are appreciated, for which the due date to be March/2026 (preferable by the end of 2025), and the publishing to be in June/2026 (subject to the contract).
Increase VAT (from 11% to 12%) is planned from next year.
AIJ conference next year in Kyushu University during Sep. 9th to 12th/2025 the synopsis needs to be submitted by April/2025.

Hybrid experimental house in Tegal, which is going to be completed by all participants’ efforts, especially by huge supports from Sumitomo Forest. Construction plans/specifications have almost been re-fixed, then the construction period to be from Nov. 2024 to Dec. 2025.
TMY opening ceremony, we could succeed this ceremony with several importantparticipants from Indonesian Goverment, including Ms. Takeda (Dir. of JICA Jakarta).
We have participated in the 14th ISAIA 2024 KYOTO in September, in which three persons (four presentations) got the Academic Session Awards (Rahma-san, Hanief-san, Koda-san), congratulations!

Kubota-sensei participated in the 44th AIVC, 12th TightVent & 10th venticool Conference held in Dublin Ireland during 9-10th October 2024. Next meeting to be held in Montreal Canada during September 24-26th 2025.
DeLCA members have participated in the 14th ISAIA 2024 KYOTO during Sep.10th to 13th., then received the Academic Session Awards as follows. Congratulations for
